- For the last 6 months I've been on the organization committee for a local road race, the Chasing Snakes 10k Road Race. According to legend, St Patrick chased all of the poisonous snakes out of Ireland and into the sea where they drowned. The race was last Saturday and it went really well. We had over 300 people register.
- I am still working. A lot. Things are going really well in our office.
- Spring has arrived. The daffodils and cherry trees are in bloom and it is beautiful to see!
- This weekend I'm going to Roan Mountain on a retreat with a few friends. We are going to go hiking and it will be my first hiking trip this year! I can't wait to get back out in the woods.
- I am very excited about James, the new addition to our family!
- I miss everyone and can't wait to be home. I am still planning on coming home at the end of June for a week. I will be running in a marathon in Seattle the last week of June (6/27/2009). Right now I am in training for that race, adding more miles each time I run during the week.
